Located overlooking the pristine waters of Dingo Beach, Cape Gloucester, this magnificent architecturally designed home required a Wind Speed Design Classification of C3 to withstand high wind loads as a result of the cyclonic region.

Being built on the side of the hill meant that using our steel subfloor system to elevate the building above the steeply sloping ground was required, however, digging footings was no easy task with many footing holes encountering solid rock!

Working with our engineer, we were able to alter the footing designs and sizes to create a workable solution for the builder on site whilst still achieving the required engineered specifications of the footings.
Our Truecore Steel wall frames and trusses clad with James Hardie Stria wall cladding and Colorbond Roofing Iron, are standing strong with windows and doors installed and internal fit out well under way!
The ocean view from the front deck certainly wouldn’t be too hard to deal with.
